Somehow just have the uncomfortable feeling that i really should get back to work, less my uni life will be hell (from the 2 years of not working my brain).
anyways, was reading a book where it dawned on me how true it was that people gradually change as they grow older, inprinted on by society on how to act and react to certain things that happen. The book wrote how we have become people who want people to change to suit how u wanted things to be, and not the other way round, which was actually how it should have been done. something i got from it so far (havent finished reading... =() is that
The way we see others, is never actually who they really are, but is always just who we make them out to be, from our beliefs, our experiences, our thoughts.
this in turns results in us having biased views against others, without actually knowing what is the true story behind their actions and behaviour. As a result, we tend to draw lines on people too quickly, making us become more selfish and self-centred.
another thing i learned is that for us to experience change in things around us, first of all, we have to change. our views have to change, how we react to things have to change.
therefore, i have to make it a point for me to change, to have a change in my life.
